For those of you who haven't been watching the news or don't live in Texas, we are currently experiencing what we "wimps" call IcePocalypse. Now I say "wimps", because of all the crap I see people posting telling us to suck it up. Well sugar, we don't know how to drive in weather like this because we don't experience weather like this and I am sure, unless you drive a Zamboni, YOU can't drive on ICE either. I recently read a blog post telling Texans to stop overreacting to this "snow". Well, she's right in her COMPLETE SARCASM. First of all honey pies, this ain't no snow... we are calling it an IcePocalypse because it's indeed ICE that we are dealing with. I know people up North are probably laughing at our posts about this 17+ degree weather but keep in mind WE LIVE IN TEXAS, and most of us live here for a reason. WE DON'T LIKE THE COLD. I would love to see someone from up North come and go through a day in 108-degree temperatures where the weatherman is telling you it feels like 112. You probably couldn't because you are used to living where you live as we are used to living where we live. And I will say it sucks that schools and most businesses have been shut down for what is going to be 4 days tomorrow, and yes we all have cabin fever, but safety comes first. We don't know how to drive in this, therefore our schools and businesses won't make us risk our lives to show up to work or class. It's not like students aren't going to be making up the time later in the year. So if you have a problem with it, then you go ahead and drive, but best of luck to ya!

XOXO

Shab
