Once again, it has been WAY too long but, IM BACK BABY AND IM BACK FOR GOOD. So quick life update-- I'm 24 now and YOU GUESSED IT, A COLLEGE GRAD! As exciting as it is to finally graduate (especially since it took me six years to get my Bachelor's Degree) I feel I was a bit unprepared for the real world. You know after high school everyone complained about how they learned the Pythagorean Theorem but not how to do taxes or write checks? Well, this is how I feel after college. Why were there no portfolio or resume workshops specific to my degree/ the industry I want to work in? Why do I feel like I didn't learn a specific skill set? Is this what I am in ridiculous debt over? WHY?

As unprepared as I felt for "the real world",  I think the worst part is when you feel like the world is going on around you and you're the only one not moving (like that Avril Lavigne music video). But really that's what it feels like, your friends are either a) still in college b) moved away c) employed, or d) in the same boat as you. Either way, you're stuck in this weird limbo that feels like you're never gonna get out, and that my friends is PGD.

One can only hope once the job comes and life adjusts it gets better, as all things do. I'll be patiently waiting for that day and that job, until then you can catch me binge-watching Gossip Girl on Netflix.

XOXO

SHAB
